This painting is of a tropical starfish and is painted in acrylic on canvas board.  The surface is textured with hundreds of tiny dots of differing sizes, to reproduce the knobbly surface of this sea creature. The paint is layered making it very textured and tactile.

It is framed in a white painted wood frame, and measures 39cm (W) x 39cm (H) x 3cm (Depth).
