This painting was inspired by the small colony of Puffins that arrive in Jersey every summer to lay their eggs and rear their young. These colourful sea birds are iconic, and have a quirky, playful nature. Sadly they are critically endangered due to climate change, reduced food sources and the increase in predators.
This is painted in acrylic on wood, and framed in a thick white wooden frame with contrasting inner black wooden beading. It measures 37.5cm (W) x 37.5cm (H) x 7cm (Depth)
