This painting was inspired by the many colourful varieties of seaweed and creatures found in the rockpools on the East coast of Jersey. The colours and movement of the seaweed with the motion of the waves is beautiful to watch, and a diverse number of sea creatures, such as lobsters and starfish, hide and feed amongst the stems and leaves. This is a quirky multicoloured piece, painted in a mixture of vibrant colours in acrylic on canvas board. The paint is layered so the surface is textured and very tactile.

It is finished with a white painted wooden frame and measures 35cm (W) x 35cm (H) x 4cm (Depth).
