This quirky colourful hanging was inspired by the numerous small pieces of driftwood I find washed up on the Jersey beaches. The head and tail are painted in acrylic on wood. The paint is layered to give a tactile, textured pattern. The driftwood “bones” are separated by wooden beads and the hanging loop is finished with wooden hand painted beads.
