I was commissioned by the Jersey Arts Centre to participate in a time constrained exhibition for the start of Jersey’s first ever Children’s Festival in July 2024.

Along with 3 other artists, we were allocated 40 hours to create a mural covering the Berni Gallery walls on the theme of “Playful”, a celebration of childhood and play.  My theme was to celebrate the vintage toys of the past, the antithesis of the electronic toys used by many children today.  A wind up robot and a clown , a Jack in the box, and a Pinocchio puppet pulled by a string with a pull along wooden dog all feature.  The exhibition is on until the 6th of April 2024, make sure you pop in to see it as after the 6th, the gallery walls will be re- painted, covering up the work forever!
