This is the first in a series of new paintings inspired by the tropical coral reefs I have dived in Australia. I wanted to capture the feeling of a rich and colourful ecosystem, densely packed with hundreds of species of coral, sponges and seaweed varieties. In amongst these are fish, jelly fish and many other invertebrates that feed on the reef.
